Semarang, 1983.

Since childhood, ARDI, a university student, has had a sixth sense, and he feels uncomfortable with this ability. He avoids the market as much as possible, since it is a place filled with terrifying beings from the "other” world. The market is a place for trading, but also a place of deception, lies, false oaths, broken promises, and, worst of all, dealings with supernatural beings. But Ardi cannot avoid the market forever.

One day, his father, SUCIPTO, who owns a shop in the market, finds a mysterious package and hears the frightening voices of an indigenous tribe. After that, he vomits blood and becomes seriously ill. Ardi is forced to take over the shop and witnesses the horrific “situations” at the market.

Then, things worsen. Ardi's younger brother, ARIF, and his mother, MARNI, also fall ill. Ardi and his sister, SYIFA, believe they are under attack from black magic, and they fear that they will be next.

They both search for a way to protect themselves from this deadly curse. It is a high-level curse from outside Java, known as Santet Segoro Pitu ... the Curse Of The Seven Oceans.

Will they survive?
